Service Department Update

Dear Customers and Friends of American Cyclery:

We are finding ourselves short staffed for the month of September. Some team members are back to school and others on sabbatical. Our service department, currently at capacity, is not able to provide the standard of quality service that you have come to expect from American Cyclery.

As a result, we are temporarily closing our service department. We are not scheduling tune-ups or major repairs on any bikes that did not come from American Cyclery in the past 5 years.

But don’t despair! We are still doing simple adjustments, flat tire repairs and accessory installations. We also are continuing to sell new bikes and can accommodate you with your new bike purchase.

*For service, scroll down below for a list of other shops that we recommend.

We’re currently looking for qualified mechanics, bike builders and sales associates. Full-time and part-time positions are available. If you’re interested, drop us a line to  discuss.

New Breezer Bikes

Breezer Radar X
Steel Gravel Touring Bike 45–60cm

American Cyclery has Breezer Radar X steel SRAM Apex 1x11 gravel bikes in a full range of sizes! This TIG welded chromoly steel bike is built to last and for utility, including brazed-on mounts for racks and fenders.

The Radar X geometry has a longer front end compared to other bikes in this category. A reasonably slack 69° head tube angle, with relatively short chain stays (444 mm), combine to make the bike well suited for fast off-road riding or fun on smooth singletrack. A fantastic bike for commuting, touring and riding off road.

Sizes we have available NOW:
X Small 45,  Small 48, Medium 51, Large 54, X Large 57, X Large 60

Breezer Doppler Cafe Plus
Steel Gravel bike 49, 56, 58, 60cm

American Cyclery has the Breezer Doppler Cafe Plus City Cafe in four sizes, this is an awesome flat bar gravel bike bike ready to go on tour. Comes with a Shimano 1x11 drivetrain hydraulic disk brakes and 650x47 tires.

The Doppler offers riders a traditional brevet and touring bike built for smooth-rolling wider 650B tires that can venture into the dirt for those off-road excursions. While gravel riding is the latest trend, 650B wheels have been a well-kept secret within the brevet community for decades, offering the distinct advantage of a larger-volume tire to provide both greater cushion and traction on rough roads.

Sizes we have available NOW:
49cm 56cm, 58cm, 60cm
